The Beach

Posted by Picasa

We made it to the beach just in time to take pictures at sunset. Even though we didn't plan to do this I am glad it worked out that way.

The Cutest Witch at Gardner Village

I'm a mean old witch with a hat
and I fly on my broomstick with my cat.
My ears are pointed and my chin is too.
so you better watch out or I might scare you.
I'm a mean old witch with a hat

BOO!!!

(This is a song I sing with my students and with Kelsey of coarse)

Lagoon

After a trial run at Lagoon we think Kelsey is ready for Disneyland next month! She will probably be walking by then as well. "Hunny we better get some squeeky shoes." I had the best time at Lagoon. I think these kind of activities are more fun with kids. Kelsey rode the Carousel and loved it. Do Carousels remind anyone else of Mary Poppins? I just imagined us bouncing off and around the park. Chad is apperantly great at skee ball, he won Kelsey two stuffed bears (for those who don't know Kelsey is obsessed with teaddy bears). We love Lagoon and are counting down the days until Disneyland!!!

Pumpkin Patch

I never thought my daughter would be afraid of pumpkins. Yes Pumpkins. At the pumpkin patch she did not want to touch or even sit down next to a pumpkin.

Kelsey is Crawling

Kelsey got her first teeth and the next day started to crawl. She is just growing up so fast. This video is of Kelsey doing three things trying to crawl, crawling and just being cute.

I have a new cousin?

We want to welcome our new niece and Kelsey's cousin Ainsley Kate Allred. She was born at 11:53pm last night and is 7 pounds 6 oz, 19 inches. We are so excited to have another cousin Kelsey's age and hope that they will be good friends as they grow up.
Bravo to April who gave birth naturally!

Trip to Zions

We had a blast with our friends Brian and Karey in Zions over the weekend. It was a quick trip but worth it. We stayed at Zions Ponderosa which is an amazing place. It has miniature golf, rock climbing, zip line, horse back ridding, and a fun pool with two slides. We went on a hike (Kelsey's first) and swam in the river. We also stopped at cove fort on the way down.

4th of July

Kelsey has such a fun personality. She is sweet, independent, and loving. Her favorite toy is a wooden block. She loves to sleep with her teaddy bear. She rockes out to music and plays catch with her mom. Although she cant throw the ball she lets it go and it rolls off her legs, then she gets all excited.

Kelsey's Safari Nursery

Ever since 2005 when I went to South Africa I have been collecting Safari things for a future baby's room. Over the years I accumulated safari stuffed animals, wooden animals and some safari style decorations.
When I was pregnant and going through the nesting stage my parents came up and helped us get Kelsey's room ready. The only problem is no one ever sees her room. So here are pictures of Kelsey's SAFARI NURSERY!

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Over the Rainbow

We saw this outside our house a few days ago. Isn't our world beautiful?
It was only there for a few minutes and this picture doesn't even do it justice.

Kelsey's First Bites

Posted by Picasa

The first few bites she was confused, but then she got the hang of it, and then loved it. She occasionally blew on the spoon and the food went everywhere. She is so cute even with her face covered in food.

Cake Pops!!!

My sister found these on bakerella.com and we had a blast making them. All of the boys even got into it but theirs were more scary than cute. Here are pictures of the ones we made.
